This is a list of flags used in Saudi Arabia.

National Flags

Flag Date Use Description
1932–1934 First Flag after the Unification of Saudi Arabia Variant of the flag in use from 1932 to 1934, with white stripe on the hoist.
1934–1938 Second Flag after the Unification of Saudi Arabia Variant of the flag in use from 1934 to 1938, with a thinner white stripe.
1938–1973 Third Flag after the Unification of Saudi Arabia Variant of the flag in use from 1938 to 1973, with no stripe.
1973–Present Flag of Saudi Arabia Green flag featuring in white an Arabic inscription and a sword. The inscription is the Islamic creed, or shahada.

1744-1818 / 1824-1891 The Flag of the First and Second Saudi states Green background with a white crescent.
1835-1920 Flag of Emirate of Ha'il Red background with a yellow crescent and Star.
