- Saneie Masilela, a South African became the world's youngest bridegroom in July 2014 after marrying 62-year-old Helen Shabangu at nine years old.[1]
- Tutankhamun, an Egyptian pharaoh got married before the age of nine years to his step sister Ankhesnamun.[2]
- Jose Griggs, at the age of seven, married nine-year-old Jayla Cooper[3]
- Khalid Juma got engaged at the age of five[4]
