List of current NCAA Division I women's basketball coaches

There are 351 women's college basketball programs competing in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I.[1] Each program employs a head coach. As of the 2017–18 season, the longest-tenured head coach is Harry Perretta, who started at Villanova in 1978.

New coaches:

  • 2012–13 season 76 new head coaches
  • 2013–14 season 60 new head coaches (counting one interim head coach)
  • 2014–15 season 29 new head coaches
  • 2015–16 season 26 new head coaches (counting one interim head coach)
  • 2016–17 season 57 new head coaches (counting three interim head coaches).
  • 2017–18 season 39 new head coaches
  • 2018–19 season - as of 11 August 2018, there are 43 new head coaches (counting one interim head coach).

Conference affiliations reflect those in place for the next college basketball season of 2018–19.
