"Listen Before I Go" is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish from her debut studio album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?. It was written by Eilish and her brother Finneas O'Connell, who also produced the song. The song has been certified gold in Australia, Canada and the United States. It has reached number 63 on the US Billboard Hot 100. It also peaked at number 29 in Australia, 42 in Canada, 73 in Netherlands and at number 71 in Sweden.

Background

This song is about Billie telling her lover to listen to what she has to say before she commits suicide. She wants him to come see her and hear her final wishes before she dies. Billie urges him to inform her friends about what she plans to do, saying, "Tell them that I love them/And I'll miss them". She at first says she isn't sorry, however, the final line of the song is "Sorry", implying that she feels regret for what she is about to do and how it will affect her loved ones.[1]
