Cast
*Donata "Dina" Sullivan Lohan (b.September 15, 1962 Long Island, New York, USA) Dina is currently divorced from Michael Lohan; they have four kids:Lindsay Lohan, Michael Douglas Lohan Jr., Ali Lohan, and Dakota "Cody" Lohan. She was married to Michael Lohan for 22 years, 1985-2007 until their divorce. Dina is the manager for daughters Ali and Lindsay, demanding roles to overlap, indeed, but if anyone's up to the task, it's Dina, who is one tough mother. Dina gave up her own dreams of professional dancing early on when she became a mother, but she eventually guided Lindsay to the showbiz career she never had. Now she's going to do the same for Ali.She always tells her kids to follow their dreams, even if there are obstacles along the way.

*Aliana "Ali" Lohan (b.December 22, 1993, New York, New York, USA) Only 14 years old, young Ali is ready to launch her career as an actress and singer, just like her older sister Lindsay. Ali can be described as honest, gorgeous beyond her years, a bit of a rebel (nevertheless also extremely protective of her mom). She's determined to achieve success--but she's savvy about the pitfalls of fame.

*Dakota "Cody" Lohan (b.June 16, 1996,New York, New York, USA) 11 year old Cody is oriented more towards soccer than movie stardom--for now,at least. When he's not playing sports with his friends, he will most likely be found tormenting his sister Ali and skating in his socks on the dinning room table.

*Nana- Dina's mom and the kids' grandmother.Nana always says what she has to say bluntly, and Dina listens. Nana was a radio actress in her early days (perhaps thats where the family showbiz gene comes from). She has a very grounded perspective on Hollywood, fame and success.Though still mourning the loss of her husband, she can be very funny, lively, and a down-to-earth balance to the chaotic Lohan lifestyle.

*Jeremy Greene- (age:25) A young singer-songwriter-dancer, he's another one of Dina's management charges. This 25-year-old singer-songwriter-dancer is an up and coming Justin Timberlake and a complex addition to the Lohan mix. Is he a true family friend—or after a share of the family fame?

Criticism

Gillian Flynn of Entertainment Weekly graded the show F and commented, "The irritation turned to repulsion around the first minute ... Dina snipes about the paparazzi's invasion of privacy, but thanks to her, there's not much left to invade." [1] [2]

Troy Patterson of Slate Magazine said that "The show is crisply edited and tangily ironic without pushing its points too hard." "....Living Lohan is not just a symptom of cultural decay but an active agent of it, commodifying the very youth and soul of Ali Lohan—younger sister of poor little Lindsay" "...Living Lohan is one big exploitative mess" [3]

Mark A. Perigard of Boston Herald graded the show "D" and said that "Living Lohan scrape bottom of stupidity barrel" [4]

Brian Lowry of Variety said that "it's a tedious exercise, joining E!'s "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" in the realm of mother-daughter bonding experiences, with limited appeal beyond, perhaps appropriately, those pesky tabloids for which the featured "talent" profess disdain." and "The show at times provides unintended comedy, representing E!'s best hope of transforming "Living Lohan" into a guilty pleasure, if not for the reasons Dina (who doubles as a producer) would doubtless like." also "the most salient aspect of the series is that it's profoundly boring, wringing out sprinkles of drama as best it can."
