Liz Feldman (born May 21, 1977) is an American comedian, actress, producer and writer.[1]

Career

Feldman is perhaps best known for her lesbian-themed vlog on Afterellen.com, entitled This Just Out, which ran from May 2008 until July 2009; 3 extra episodes Oct/Nov 2010. A new Season also debuted in March 2015 on YouTube. She was a writer on the Emmy Award-winning team of television's The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

This Just Out[2] was a vlog presented by Feldman, co-written with Jason Allen, and co-produced with Raimy Rosenduft. The show was filmed in Feldman's kitchen and featured several recurring guests such as Kate Moennig, Clea DuVall, and Rachael Cantu. All guests were either involved in or sympathetic to lesbian culture, and Feldman had hosted several of the actors from The L Word, as well as bands and solo artists with an LGBT connection, such as Uh Huh Her and Tegan and Sara. Each show featured a regular section in which Liz Feldman would bring on her friend and co-producer Raimy Rosenduft to talk about new music. Dedicated to highlighting and celebrating the work of LGB and LGB-friendly women, each show ended with Liz Feldman pointing a rainbow sword at the camera with the catchphrase, 'I'm Liz Feldman and you're so gay'. Feldman finished the second series of This Just Out in July 2009 and later added 3 extra episodes in autumn 2010. The show started back in March 2015 after a four and a half year hiatus. It also switched from AfterEllen.com to a YouTube channel called "This Just Out With Liz Feldman".

Feldman has been working on Shack Talk, a series on the website Funny or Die. She released her short film "My First Time Driving", which was directed by her sister Rebecca Feldman.

Liz Feldman had a recurring role on NBC's The Jay Leno Show as one of Jay's comedy correspondents.

She is a writer and producer on Hot in Cleveland, which premiered on June 16, 2010,[3] and on 2 Broke Girls, and was the creator and head writer of the NBC sitcom One Big Happy, which premiered on March 16, 2015 and was cancelled after six episodes.

Personal life

Feldman was born in Brooklyn, New York. She resides in Hollywood, California. In May 2012, Feldman became engaged to singer-songwriter Rachael Cantu and they were married in May 2013.[4]
