Local Partnerships LLP is jointly owned by HM Treasury and the Local Government Association. It brings together a team of leading edge experts solely for the benefit of the public sector and the delivery of public services and infrastructure.

Working to help the public sector deliver locally, the organisation's strategic position in the landscape of national and local government helps those it works with to get a unique insight into current best practice and market intelligence from across the UK and avoid making the mistakes others have made.

It is funded by a mix of money 'top-sliced' from local authorities' Revenue Support Grant (RSG) payments from the UK government, grant funding from UK government departments, and fee income from chargeable services.

The current Chairman is Sir David Wootton and Chief Executive, Sean Hanson,
