Lockhart Independent School District is a public school district based in Lockhart, Texas (USA). In addition to Lockhart, the district also serves portions of Mustang Ridge, Niederwald, Dale, Lytton Springs, and Maxwell.

The district's motto is "100 percent success - Every Child - Every Time!"

In 2008-2009, 2009-2010, and 2010-2011, the school district was rated "Recognized" by the Texas Education Agency.[1]
