Lodu Sikaka is a Kondha tribal chief in Odisha state, India. Sikaka is a leading figure of the Kondhas against the building of a large bauxite mine in the Kondha tribal areas by the mining company Vedanta Resources.[1] In August 2010, he was abducted by several unknown individuals whom Sikaka and his relative Sena identified as policemen.[2] Sikaka was released after he signed a statement the contents of which are unclear.
