The long-clawed ground squirrel (Spermophilopsis leptodactylus) is a species of rodent in the family Sciuridae. It is monotypic within the genus Spermophilopsis.[citation needed] It can be found in Afghanistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
