Luiz Otávio Anacleto Leandro (born 14 September 1988) is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Ceará Sporting Club on loan from Angra dos Reis Esporte Clube as a defender.

Club career

Born in Carmo, Rio de Janeiro, Otávio graduated from the youth academy of Botafogo and turned professional with Friburguense Atlético Clube in 2008. In 2009, he joined local Angra dos Reis Esporte Clube, and initially spent loan at lower tier clubs - Madureira Esporte Clube, Macaé Esporte Futebol Clube before joining Série B club Icasa Esporte Clube in 2013.[3] On 28 May, he scored his first goal for the club in a 1−1 draw against América Futebol Clube (RN).[4]

After a short stint with Clube Atlético Linense, Otávio was loaned to Sampaio Corrêa Futebol Clube on 8 April 2014.[5][6] On 18 November, he scored his first goal for the club in a 2−0 victory against Santa Cruz Futebol Clube.[7] In the 2016 season, he started in 32 matches with the club being relegated to the third tier.[8]

On 7 December 2016, Otávio joined Ceará Sporting Club on loan for the 2017 season.[9][10] He made a total of 44 appaearances and scored thrice, with his club winning promotion to Série A.[11] On 13 December 2017, he renewed his contract with Angra dos Reis till 2021, and was reloaned to Ceará.[10]
