Lycopodium deuterodensum known as the bushy clubmoss is an ancient plant occurring in Australia (all 6 states plus Northern Territory), New Caledonia and New Zealand (North Island and Chatham Island. It is a spore-bearing vascular plant and grows up to a metre high. It is found in a wide variety of situations, often in high rainfall areas on sandy soils.[3][4]
