History
Maersk Anglia was built by Guang Zhou shipyard, China in 2000 at the same time as the Maersk Flanders.[1] The first two ships of this class, Maersk Importer and Maersk Exporter were built at MIHO Shimizu ship yard in Japan in 1996.[2]
In July 2010, DFDS acquired Norfolkline and the routes and vessels were integrated into DFDS Seaways and the "Maersk Anglia" was renamed "Anglia Seaways".
