Małdaniec [mau̯ˈdaɲɛt͡s] (German: Maldanietz; 1938-45: Maldanen) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szczytno, within Szczytno County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) south-east of Szczytno and 50 km (31 mi) south-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
