Machaonia woodburyana, the alfilerillo, is a species of plant in the Rubiaceae family. It is found in the U.S. Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean. According to the Flora of St. John it is endemic to the island of St. John. [1]

Habitat

The Machaonia woodburyana natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland. It is threatened by habitat loss.
