State Route 198 is a route on Mount Desert Island. It goes from State Routes 3 and 102 in Bar Harbor to the village of Northeast Harbor in the town of Mount Desert. There are beautiful views of the Gulf of Maine and Acadia National Park from Route 198.

Route description

State Route 198 begins in the village of Northeast Harbor. It heads northward and has a concurrency with State Route 3 from Northeast Harbor, junctions State Route 233, and State Route 102 joins the route. Here, State Route 3 has its eastern end. Route 198 and Route 102 run together and enter Bar Harbor. Both routes have their northern end at State Route 3.
