Man in India is a journal on anthropology with a focus on South Asia. It scope includes biological and socio-cultural anthropology, archaeology, linguistics and folk-culture.^[1] Template:Anthropology collapsible

History

This is the first anthropological journal in India. This was started by Sarat Chandra Roy in 1921.^[2]

From 1951 to 1972, it was edited by Nirmal Kumar Bose.
