Mannar massacre

Mannar massacre can refer to number of incidents of massacres of civilians in the Mannar district of Sri Lanka since the 16th century.
- Mannar massacre of Catholics is a historic massacre of 600 Catholic converts by King Cankili I of the Jaffna Kingdom in the 16th century.
- 1984 Mannar massacre is the massacre of approximately 107-150 minority Sri Lankan Tamils by the Sri Lankan Army.[1][2][3][4]
- 2006 Mannar massacre is the massacre of a family of 4 Sri Lankan Tamils returning refugees from India in the village of Vankalai.
- 2008 Mannar massacre is the mass murder of 17 Sri Lankan Tamil bus passengers close to the village of Madhu.
