Manu Ramesan is a film composer from Kerala State and is the son of S. Ramesan Nair, well known and one of the most famous poets and lyricists in Kerala. He has composed for films such as Pidichirukku (2008), Gulumal: The Escape (2009) and Plus Two (2010). His film score, for the movie Ayaal Njanalla, became instant hit and now Manu is doing music for a movie directed by the prominent director Ranjith.

Ramesan Nair has written lyrics for more than 450 songs for the Malayalam film industry, from 1985 onwards.
