Map Room
Appearance
The phrase "The Map Room" can refer to a number of places:
- in general, a room for storing a large collection of maps.
- The Map Room in the White House is a ground floor sitting room that once served as a situation room during the Second World War.
- The Map Room of The British Museum, which later became the Map Library[1].
- One of the rooms of the Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms was known as the Map Room; it was a hub of the war effort in World War II.
