Foundry is an American rock band from Las Vegas. The band’s current lineup features founding drummer Marc Brattin, guitarist Chris iOrio, vocalist Kevin Lacerda, and bassist Niko Gemini. Their latest singles, "30,000 Feet" and "Primadonna," are set for release in 2025 and were produced by Linkin Park drummer Colin Brittain. While rooted in classic rock, Foundry made waves in 2023 with their sixth Top 40 radio hit, "Crocodile Tears," on the mainstream rock charts. Known for their meticulously crafted live performances, the band’s shows, produced by Metallica mixer Mike Gillies, are infused with a distinctive Vegas flair. Foundry has shared the stage with iconic acts such as Nickelback, Rob Zombie, Disturbed, Godsmack, Staind, Papa Roach, Scorpions, Whitesnake, Tesla, Queensrÿche, Bret Michaels, and others.
History
[edit]In 2020, Foundry’s single, “Intoxicate”, spent 12 weeks in the Active Rock Radio Top 40 Chart.[1] In 2019 they released original singles, “Intoxicate”, “Not This Time”, and “Thunder Rolls”, also produced by Colin Brittain. The band came out with two remakes, “Poker Face” in 2019 and “Money” in 2020. Also in 2020, Foundry performed a 4th of July tribute LiveStream to pioneer new technology and experiment with hybrid audiences in response to the pandemic’s effect on live music.
Foundry released the single "Vegas Baby!" in December 2014.[2] The band's self-titled album was released January 5, 2015.[3] The record was mixed by 7 X's Grammy-producer Steve Thompson with multi-platinum recording engineer Matt Breunig, and features guitarist Stoney Curtis and keyboardist Erik Norlander.[2][4][5] Foundry's record has 10 songs and was recorded at Vegas View Recording.[6][7] In March 2015, the band played at Count's Vamp'd in Las Vegas, where Keeling was inducted into the RockGodz Hall of Fame.[8][9] Foundry was featured on Radio Narcea, 107.5 FM out of Oviedo, Spain, in January 2017.[10]
