Marcus Phillips (born 17 October 1973) is an English retired professional footballer who played as a midfielder in England, the Netherlands, Australia, Malaysia and New Zealand.

Career

Born in Trowbridge, Phillips began his career with Swindon Town, making one Cup appearance in the 1992–93 season.[1] He later played for Dutch side FC Utrecht and non-league Cheltenham Town, Gloucester City and Witney Town. He made one league appearance for Oxford United during the 1996–97 season.[2] Phillips later played in Australia, Malaysia and New Zealand for Sydney United, Marconi Stallions, Sydney Olympic, Canberra Cosmos, Brunei, Northern Spirit, Blacktown City and Waitakere United.[3]
