The Margaret Thatcher Professorship of Enterprise Studies is a chaired professorship at the University of Cambridge and assigned to Judge Business School. The Chair was established in 1988, following a benefaction of £2,000,000 from the Margaret Thatcher Foundation. The Margaret Thatcher Foundation was established in 1991 in both the United Kingdom and the United States of America to promote a wider understanding of the principles of free enterprise, with reference to political and economic freedom and market economy, under the rule of law.[1]
