Margarornis is the genus of treerunners, birds in the family Furnariidae. Established by Ludwig Reichenbach in 1853, it contains the following species:[1]

The genus name Margarornis is composed of two Greek words:margaron, meaning "pearl" and ornis, meaning "bird".[2]
