Maria Yaremchuk (born March 2, 1993) in Chernivtsi, Chernivtsi Oblast, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian pop singer. Yaremchuk will represent Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 held in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Biography

She was born in Chernivtsi in in the family of the national actor of Ukraine Nazar Yaremchuk. Her father died of stomach cancer when Maria was two years old. She has an older half-sister Vera from mother's first marriage and two brothers by his father's side, Dmitry Nazarov.

She was a finalist of the TV project "Voice of the Country". In 2012 she represented Ukraine at the international contest of young singers "New Wave 2012", where she won third place.

On 21 December, 2013 Yaremchuk won the Ukrainian National Final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with her song "Tick-Tock".[2]
