Mark S. Nelkin is a theoretical physicist at the University of Cornell. Under the direction of Professor Hans Bethe, received his Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Cornell in 1955. Nelkin was married to American sociologist of science Dorothy Nelkin until her death in 2003.
