Palm Valley School is a private, college-preparatory school located in Rancho Mirage, California, United States.


The school was formed in 2005, when the Marywood Country Day and Palm Valley Schools merged. The Palm Valley School was formed in 1952, followed 26 years later by the Marywood School in 1978. The schools, which were previously housed on two separate campuses, consolidated at the J. Blake Field campus, formerly the Palm Valley School campus, in 2008.

The school today[edit]

The school currently serves all grades from Preschool through 12, with an average class size under 20 and an average graduating class of 20 seniors. Its motto is "Paratus Vitae" ("Prepared for Life").
