Masketta Fall are a Melbourne-based pop-rock group and who were formally signed to Island Records Australia which is part of Universal Music Australia. The band is made up of Braden Daniel on vocals, Ben Downing on vocals and guitar, Daniel Molivas on vocals and guitar, and Jamie Ross on drums.[1]

History

After meeting in high school, the band began playing headline, support and high schools shows,[2] busking out front of live venues[3] and formed a group of online fans, known as "Masketeers".[4] During this time the band independently released their debut EP Something Beautiful in September 2012,[5] the Parachute EP in October 2013,[6] and multiple singles from each including, most notably, "Do You Wanna Dance".[7]

In November 2014, it was announced that Masketta Fall had signed a record deal with Universal Music Australia[8] after being scouted whilst on tour with American indie rock band American Authors.[9] Their debut single on a major label, "Summertime Girls", was released on 5 December 2014[10] and gained high rotation on Australian commercial radio.[11] In 2015 the band supported The Vamps,[12] Demi Lovato[13] and McBusted[14] across Australia, and headlined Canberra's annual Sky Fire event with over 100,000 in attendance.[15][16] Their next single "Love Me Like That" was released on 15 January 2016 in Australia.[17]
