Master Kapuram is a 1990 Telugu drama film, produced by Vijay and Y. T. Naidu under the Sri Gayathri Kala Chitra banner[2] and directed by P. N. Ramachandra Rao.[3] It stars Rajendra Prasad and Gayatri in the lead roles, with music composed by Raj-Koti.[4] The film is a remake of the Malayalam film Sasneham. The movie was predominantly shot in Horsley hills and surrounding towns.

Plot

David (Rajendra Prasad) is a school teacher who loves and marries his colleague Geetha (Gayatri), who belongs to an orthodox Brahmin family. Because they got married without the elders' permission, they have been excommunicated by their families. After some time, Geeta becomes pregnant and gives birth to a baby boy, both the families visits to watch the baby, which leads to a lot of disputes due to their different lifestyles and customs. They even create a caste barrier between David and Geetha, which splits their married life. The rest of the story is how the misunderstandings recede between the couple.
