Matthew "Matt" Brunton (20 April 1878 – 1962) was an English professional footballer who played as an inside forward in the Football League for Burnley, Preston North End, Leicester Fosse and Oldham Athletic.[1]

Personal life

Brunton served as a sergeant in the Prince of Wales's Volunteers (South Lancashire Regiment) during the First World War and was wounded in 1916.[2]
