McAdams park is located in Wichita, Kansas at 1329 E. 13th St. North. The park was originally named McKinley park but in 1966 it was renamed to honor Emerson McAdams, a former policeman and Director of McKinley park for 27 years.[1]

The park was opened in 1901 with later parcels added in 1941, 1946, and 1980.[2]
