McKenzie Nunatak (71°14′S 163°25′E / 71.233°S 163.417°E / -71.233; 163.417) is a very prominent nunatak which rises to 1,620 metres (5,300 ft) between McLin Glacier and Graveson Glacier, in the Bowers Mountains of Antarctica. It was mapped by United States Geological Survey from ground surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960–62, and was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for glaciologist Garry D. McKenzie, who participated in the study of Meserve Glacier in 1966–67.[1]
