Meaburn Staniland

Meaburn Staniland (1809 – 1898)^[1] was a British Liberal Party politician.

He was elected as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Boston at the 1859 general election, but was narrowly defeated at the 1865 general election.^[2] An election petition led in 1866 to the result being overturned: his opponent Thomas Parry was unseated, and the seat awarded to Staniland.^[2]
