Megha Mittal (born 20 November 1976 in Kolkata, India) is the Chairman and Managing Director of the German fashion luxury brand Escada.[1]

She graduated from the Wharton School of Business in 1997, with a B.S. in Economics with concentration in Finance. She subsequently joined the investment bank Goldman Sachs as an analyst in the research department. In 2003, she obtained a postgraduate Diploma in Architectural Interior Design at the Inchbald School of Design.[2]

In November 2009, she acquired Escada, who had filed for bankruptcy in August that same year.[3][4]

Mittal is married to Aditya Mittal,[5] CFO of ArcelorMittal, whom she met while at the business school in the U.S. They live in London and have two young daughters.

In 2008, the Mittals made a donation of £15 million to Great Ormond Street Hospital in London,[6] the largest private contribution the hospital had ever received. The donation was used to help fund their new facility, the Mittal Children's Medical Centre.[7]
