Mesorhizobium mediterraneum is a bacterium from the genus Mesorhizobium which was isolated from root nodule from Chickpea (Cicer arietinum) in Spain.[4][5]Rhizobium mediterraneum was transferred to Mesorhizobium mediterraneum.[6]
