Mesquite Tower

Mesquite Tower is a free-standing lattice tower at Mesquite, Texas, USA at 32°45'46.0" N and 96°38'05.0" W. It is from unconventional design and was built in 1990.

Owned by Mesquite Independent School District, it is a 61,000 watt radio tower. The major radio station is KEOM also operated by Mesquite Independent School District under the supervision of Dr. James Griffin and students selected from the five high schools within the district. KEOM 88.5 celebrated its 20th year on the air in 2005.
