Mia Honey Threapleton[1] (born 12 October 2000) is a British actress.[2] She starred with her mother Kate Winslet in I Am Ruth which won the 2023 British Academy Television Award for Best Single Drama.[3]
Personal life
Mia Honey Threapleton was born on 12 October 2000 in London to actress Kate Winslet and film director Jim Threapleton.[2][4] Her parents divorced in 2001.[5] She has dyslexia.[1]
Career
Threapleton appeared in A Little Chaos, as Helene, when aged 14. She played the roles of Alma in 2020 Italian film Shadows and Rose in 2022 American television series Dangerous Liaisons.[2]
In 2022 she starred with her mother Kate Winslet in "I Am Ruth", an episode of the Channel 4 anthology series I Am....[3] "I Am Ruth" won the Best Single Drama BAFTA, and Winslet won the Best Actress BAFTA.[6]
