Michael Joseph Klassen (born March 20, 1991) is a professional Canadian football defensive lineman for the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was drafted in the fourth round, 32nd overall by the Montreal Alouettes in the 2013 CFL Draft and signed with the team on May 27, 2013.[1] After signing a new deal with the Montreal Alouettes in the offseason he was released on May 27, 2017 and was signed by his hometown Calgary Stampeders four days later.[2] He spent one season with the Stampeders, playing in eight games, before signing with the Redblacks as a free agent the following off-season on February 20, 2018 to a one-year contract.[3] He played CIS football for the Calgary Dinos.[4]
