Michael Thomas (born 4 June 1981), also known as Moose, is a Welsh drummer and song writer who is known for his role as founding member and drummer in heavy metal band Bullet for My Valentine.

Thomas said that he first played guitar for two years and then he started playing drums. He said his main influence is Dave Grohl of Nirvana and Foo Fighters and that if it were not for him, he would not be playing drums. Other influences include Scott Travis of Judas Priest, Vinnie Paul of Pantera and Dave Lombardo of Slayer.[1]

On 8 October 2014, Thomas married his wife Stephanie; their daughter Harper Willow Thomas was born 29 April 2016.

On 4 December 2017, Thomas officially announced that he had parted ways with Bullet For My Valentine, followed by an announcement of a now-untitled band with members of Throw the Fight, Threat Signals and Still Remains.[2]
