Michel Morandais (born January 10, 1979) is a French professional basketball player who currently plays for ASVEL Basket of the LNB Pro A. Morandais who played college basketball in the United States for the Colorado Buffaloes of the Pac-12 Conference.[1][2][3] After going undrafted in the 2004 NBA draft he signed with Italian club Pallacanestro Cantù.[4]

From 2004 to 2008 Morandais spent time with 4 clubs in Italy and Spain, including AXA FC Barcelona and Vertical Vision Cantu[5], while being named an All-Star in the Italian LBA league. In 2008 he returned to France and played for SLUC Nancy Basket. While with Champagne Châlons-Reims Basket, Morandais won LNB Pro B Most valuable player in 2014.[6]

Since 2006, Morandais has made 10 appearances for the France national basketball team most notably in the EuroBasket 2013 championship scoring five points.[7][8]
