54°40′30″N 1°36′40″W / 54.675°N 1.611°W / 54.675; -1.611 Middlestone is a village in County Durham, England.[1] It is situated to the south of Spennymoor, near Kirk Merrington. In the 2001 census Middlestone had a population of 67.[2]
