Michael "Mike" Gallagher (born March 3, 1984) is an American politician who was elected to serve as the U.S. Representative for Wisconsin's 8th congressional district in the 2016 elections. He will take office on January 3, 2017.

Gallagher deployed to the Al Anbar Province in Iraq with the United States Marine Corps in 2008.[1] Gallagher served as a Republican staffer on the United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. Scott Walker, the Governor of Wisconsin, hired Gallagher as a foreign policy advisor in February 2015, in preparation for his 2016 presidential campaign.[2]
