Mike Wedderburn

Mike Wedderburn is a former British sportsman and current presenter on Sky Sports News and Sky Sports' cricket coverage.

Sports career

Wedderburn played rugby union for Harlequins and London Wasps rugby union and he also played as a fast bowler for Hampshire County Cricket Club before an injury ended his career. He also has a daughter called Georgia.

Media career

Wedderburn presented on Channel 4 and ITV before joining Sky Sports in 1998. On Sky Sports News he usually presents Good Morning Sports Fans alongside Alex Hammond. During the 2007 Cricket World Cup Wedderburn presented the daily World Cup Report on Sky Sport News.

Personal life

He is a supporter of Manchester City, despite being born in Portsmouth.[1] Mike plays keys in 10 piece covers band Jivehoney based in South Northants, playing corporate events, private functions, party's and weddings etc www.jivehoney.com
