Milan Gašić (Serbian Cyrillic: Милан Гашић; born 13 November 1993) is a Serbian football defender, who plays for Borac Čačak. He is well known for being a second son of former Serbian Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić.[2]

Club career

Early career

Milan played for youth categories of Trayal[2] and Napredak Kruševac.[3] Later he played in a lower ranked league, for local club Jedinstvo[4] from Mudrakovac.[5][6][7] He was also with Zemun, during the time of Goran Bunjevčević.[7] Later he made a six months pause to recover an injury.[8] At the beginning of 2014, he was on 2 days trial at Red Star Belgrade,[2] but he left the third day because of political reasons.[3][9] Later he signed for Mladost Lučani.[10]

Mladost Lučani

2013–14 season

Gašić joined the club for the 2013–14 winter break off-season. He was given a place in the protocol several times, as a reserve player, and he got a chance before the end of season. He played 3 league caps with 2 starts.[11] He won the Serbian First League with Mladost Lučani, and promotion in Serbian SuperLiga at the end of season.[12][13]

2014–15 season

During the 2014–15 season, Gašić was mostly sitting on the bench. His first appearance in the season was the cup match against Čukarički, played on 24 September 2014.[14] He made his Serbian SuperLiga debut for Mladost at home win against OFK Beograd in 28 fixture match, played on 13 May 2015, when he replaced Nebojša Gavrić at 73 minute.[15] 5 minutes later, he made penalty for opponent team, and got the yellow card after one start on Ivica Jovanović at the penalty box.[16] He played all 90 minutes in 29 fixture match, in win against Radnički Niš,[17] and also had a solid role against Red Star Belgrade in the last fixture of SuperLiga.[18] After the end of season, Gašić left the club.

Napredak Kruševac

Gašić had signed with OFK Beograd in summer 2015,[19] but he changed his mind in short time, so he returned in his home town and joined Napredak Kruševac.[20] He made one-year deal with Napredak.[21] During the first half of 2015–16 season, Gašić was in protocol once time, for the 2nd Serbian First League fixture.[22] In the winter break off-season he was with team in Antalya, where played some friendly matches, but later he left the club.[23] For the spring half of 2015–16 season, Gašić was loaned to Serbian League East side Temnić, where he stayed until the end of contract with Napredak.[24]

Borac Čačak

In summer 2016, Gašić moved to Borac Čačak, and was training with club, playing several friendly matches during the pre-season.[25][26] After many injuries in defence line, Gašić signed a contract with club at the beginning of August 2016, and made his debut for new club in 3rd fixture match of the 2016–17 Serbian SuperLiga season, against Voždovac.[27] In last days of the summer transfer window 2016, Gašić moved to Serbian First League side Kolubara on six-month loan.[28]
