Millie Innes (born 5 October 2000)[2][3] is a Scottish actress who earned her first major role at age 9, as Evie in the 2010 BBC One drama Single Father. She is best known for playing Maisy in the CBBC sitcom Dani's House, and for playing the lead role of Millie McDonald in the CBBC sitcom Millie Inbetween.
Early and personal life
Innes was born in 2000 to parents Julia and Campbell; she has a younger brother named Murray. Innes attends Rosshall Academy and was trained at the Glasgow Academy of Musical Theatre Arts.[2] She studies acting at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Career
Innes' first role was in the four-part drama Single Father, as Evie.[4][5][6][7][8] Between 2011 and 2013, she appeared in Case Histories as Marlee Brodie, daughter of the protagonist.[9][10] In 2011, Innes was chosen from 20,000 hopefuls for the role of Maisy in Dani's House,[8][11] and she played Fiona in a 2013 episode of Dani's Castle.[12] Since 2014, Innes has played the role of Millie in CBBC's Millie Inbetween.[8][13][14][15] In 2015, she appeared on Hacker Time and presented a Newsround documentary called Being Me.[16][17]
