Minor oilseeds are oilseed crops other than soybeans and peanuts.

In United States agriculture regulation, these are the "other oilseeds" eligible for marketing assistance loans under the 2002 farm bill (P.L. 101-171, Sec. 1201-1205):

  • sunflower seed
  • rapeseed
  • canola
  • safflower
  • flaxseed
  • mustard seed.
