Monika Panayotova (born 19 August 1983 in Sofia) is a Bulgarian politician who served as an MEP for the GERB between 2012 and 2014.[1] She took the seat of Emil Stoyanov on 6 December 2012 after he resigned for personal reasons. Panayotova was elected to the Bulgarian National Assembly in 2009, and she was chair of the Committee on European Affairs and Oversight of the European Funds at the time of her departure to Brussels.[2]
