The Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, Guadalajara Campus (in Template:Lang-es) commonly shortened as Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Guadalajara or ITESM Campus Guadalajara, is a campus of the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education private university system in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico.

Entrepreneurship Focus

At the end of the 70’s, the Institute acknowledged the need to instill the entrepreneurial spirit in its graduates as an option to seeking jobs in established businesses. This required a new educational approach that not only presented this panorama, but also provided the necessary skills to succeed.

In 1987, Program Entrepreneur began operating with a group of faculty members and businessmen who, constituted as a committee, guided a group of students in the creation of a business. This program would later become the Entrepreneurship Program, which has given birth to numerous projects that continue to promote the entrepreneur spirit within the community of the Tecnológico de Monterrey. Worth mentioning are the Business Incubators and Accelerators.[2]
