Moosalamoo National Recreation Area is a National Recreation Area in the U.S. state of Vermont. The recreation area was established in 2007 in Green Mountain National Forest and is administered by the U.S. Forest Service, extending over 15,875 acres (6,424 ha).[1] The area is located between Middlebury and Rutland in the central portion of the Green Mountains, in the north half of Green Mountain National Forest. It surrounds Mt. Moosalamoo.[2]

Moosalamoo National Recreation Area was established by the 2007 New England Wilderness Protection Act.[1]
