48°50′53″N 122°40′25″W / 48.8481686°N 122.6734762°W / 48.8481686; -122.6734762 Mountain View is an unincorporated community in Whatcom County, in the U.S. state of Washington.[1]

History

A post office called Mountain View was established in 1891, and remained in operation until 1908.[2] The community was named for mountain views afforded from the elevated town site.[3]
